Wendy Pegan, MS.Ed, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, Founder
Wendy Pegan, MsEd, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, is a communication specialist and Founder of the Creative Relationship Center in Amherst, NY, where she works with couples and family entrepreneurs who want to better connect by transforming their communication techniques into healthy dialogue. Having struggled through her own losses, Wendy helps clients refocus life’s challenges integrating the past as a way to heal and embrace life in a more positive way. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Divorce Mediator and Family Business Mediator, Wendy is considered the “Relationship Expert” and has spent decades as the force of transformation for many.
The Creative Relationship Center practices within the belief that healthy communication and relationship skills pave the way for emotional intelligence and financial stability - the foundation of every successful personal and business relationship.
Wendy is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC) and a Certified Hypnotherapist. She holds certificates as a Trauma Specialist from the University of Buffalo and is a court-rostered mediator for both the Unified Court System Supreme Court and the 8th District Family Court. Wendy has served on numerous boards and has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association, International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the American Red Cross Mental Health Disaster Team, the Association for Conflict Resolution, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, and the New York State Dispute Resolution Association.
Wendy is the proud mother of six beautiful children, including twins, and lives in Amherst, NY where she is often called upon as guest speaker for WBEN as the “Relationship Expert.”
Jessica Bedell, MS.Ed, BSW, LMHC
Jessica Bedell works as a part time therapist with The Creative Relationship Center. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with children and families who are experiencing difficulty in their lives. Miss Bedell also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling.
On a full time basis, Miss Bedell works as a school counselor in the City of Buffalo and has eleven years’ experience working with children and families.
Miss Bedell specializes in working with children who are experiencing Depression, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and/or Social Skill Issues. She is also available for counseling parents who are having difficulty parenting their children.
Thomas Palmer, Esq.
That for the past forty two years Tom has practiced law in Buffalo, New York, and West Palm Beach, Florida. He has been actively engaged in the practice of family law and have prosecuted and defended numerous matrimonial action, with an emphasis on all aspects of family law, divorce, custody, child support, alimony or maintenance, property distribution, and business dissolution.
He is a former Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a Member of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section, and the Erie County Bar Association Matrimonial and Family Law Committee. Sarah Falzone, Relationship Architect and Provisional Therapist
Sarah graduated from St. Bonaventure University with her Masters in Counseling Education in 2014. Sarah currently has her provisional license in Mental Health Counseling. Sarah's specialties include Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Therapeutic Interventions. Sarah currently works with children and families in the foster care system, and has experience working with children who have experienced trauma. Sarah also specializes working with children who are managing life transitions.
Christopher Arnold, Relationship Architect, Coach and Mediator
Christopher is known as the "child whisperer." A School Counselor, turned child therapist, turned Elementary School Principal, Christopher is known as the man most loved by kids.
Recently retired from schools, Christopher has joined Creative Relationship Center in July of 2018 and is currently working as a Critical Incident Provider, a Divorce Mediator and his most favorable position, a Child and Family Coach.
